What the free tier includes
The free generator runs on shared Hugging Face GPUs. Each visitor gets a small amount of free GPU time per day — usually enough for one or two short videos or several images. At busy times you may wait in a queue. Free results have no saved history, so download what you want to keep.

Is the AI video generator really free?+
Yes. The free image to video and text to image tools cost nothing and need no account or credit card. They run on shared community GPUs with a daily allowance per visitor, so they are free but not unlimited.
How many free videos can I make per day?+
Usually one or two 3–5 second videos, or several images, per visitor per day. The allowance is GPU time rather than a fixed count, and it refills about 24 hours after you start using it. If you see "Free limit reached", come back later or use the paid studio.
Do I need to sign up or install anything?+
No. Open this page in any modern browser, upload an image or type a prompt, and generate. Nothing to install and no account to create.
How long are the free videos, and which model makes them?+
Free videos are 3 or 5 seconds long. Image to video uses the open-source Wan 2.2 model, and text to image uses the open-source Z-Image Turbo model, both hosted on Hugging Face.
Can I use free results commercially?+
Free results are meant for personal, non-commercial use. For commercial projects, create your video with credits in the Flow AI Video studio and follow our Terms of Service and the rights of anyone shown in your images.
What happens to the images I upload?+
Your image and prompt are sent directly from your browser to the free Hugging Face engine to make the result. Flow AI Video does not store free generations or keep a history of them. Do not upload images you do not have the right to use.
